Day 12 – Menu

Breakfast: 0% plain Greek yogurt with fruit salad, coffee with soy creamer

Snack: Handfuls of raspberries, freshly picked from Sweet Berry Farm in Newport.

Lunch: Veggies with hummus, chopped salad with chicken and fat free raspberry vinaigrette, Diet Coke. Generally, I am completely against all soda, especially ones with artificially sugar but… I was sitting on Newport beach, with friends, enjoying a perfect day and darn it, I needed something sweet to drink and there were no cabana boys to bring me a mudslide!

Snack: Coffee with soy milk and a handful of almonds

Dinner: Roasted spaghetti squash with chicken sausage and tomato sauce. Delicious and super filling! How to roast squash: preheat oven to 350°, slice your squash in half, sprinkle with salt and pepper, a bit of olive oil so it doesn’t stick and put face down on a cookie sheet or in a pyrex. Roast for 30-40 minutes for al dente, scrap with two forks – enjoy!

Dessert: Peach sangria and a beautiful summer sunset on the porch. Heaven.
