Breakfast: 0% plain Greek yogurt with mix fruit, coffee with soy creamer on the screened in porch. I love eating al fresco, especially at home, where I can be relaxed in my pajamas, play a game of Blokus with my kids and have my coffee exactly the way I like it. Summer is such a special time to appreciate a change of rhythm and I am trying to store up as many mornings like this as possible to last me during the long, cold, busy winter school days!
Lunch: Fish tacos (no tortillas) with Mexican slaw, cilantro verde salsa and pico de gallo at our favorite local place, Nacho Mammas.
Dinner: Grilled Chicken salad with celery, pineapple and mixed greens with southwestern vinaigrette at a local bar and grill. It was actually pretty tasty and on their low calorie menu.
Ab workout: I did so much better on my sit-ups today but my crunches were still embarrassingly bad and difficult. 20 sit-ups, 8 crunches, 8 leg lifts and a 12 second plank.
